Registrada nesta foto tirada na praia do Atlantico de Santa Marinella, proxima a Roma, Italia, a adoravel conjunção celestial das duas mais brilhantes focos de luz do ceu noturno puderam ser apreciados em todo o mundo.
À beira-mar, a luz refletida por breves superficies horizontais das suaves ondas formam as tremeluzentes colunas através da agua. Reflexos similares causados por esvoaçantes cristais de gelo atmosferico podem, às vezes, criar misteriosos pilares de luz. É claro que a luz da propria Terra visivelmente ilumina o esmaecido lado noturno da Lua.

Recorded in this snapshot from the Atlantic beach at Santa Marinella near Rome, Italy, the lovely celestial conjunction of the two brightest beacons in the night sky could be enjoyed around the world.
Seaside, light reflected by briefly horizontal surfaces of the gentle waves forms the shimmering columns across the water. Similar reflections by fluttering atmospheric ice crystals can create sometimes mysterious pillars of light. Of course, earthlight itself visibly illuminates the faint lunar night side.
