Solar flare / Labareda solar

Esta imagem divulgada pela NASA mostra uma labareda solar solar no início da terça-feira passada, a maior em cinco anos. A imagem foi obtida pelo was Observatório de Dinâmica Solar (SDO) em luz ultravioleta  extrema, a 131 Angstroms (1/10.000.000.000 de um metro) .

Cientistas dizem que as rajadas de radiação lançadas pela explosão solar não estavam na direção da Terra Earth, então, haverá pouco impacto sobre satélites e sistemas de comunicações.

This image provided by NASA shows a solar flare early on Tuesday, the largest in five years. The image was was captured by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) in extreme ultraviolet light at 131 Angstroms  (1/10,000,000,000 of a meter).

Scientists say the bursts of radiation hurled by the solar blast were not in the direction of Earth, so there’ll be little impact to satellites and communication systems.
