Amy Bleidorn nada com uma água viva dourada no Jellyfish Lake em Palau, no Pacífico.

Fotos tiradas pelo marido de Amy, John, oceanógrafo da Marinha dos EUA. Acredita-se que as águas vivas tenham sido presas no lago desde que ele foi substancialmente ligado ao ocenao, há uns 12.000 anos.

Amy Bleidorn swims with a golden jellyfish in the appropriately named Jellyfish Lake in Palau, Pacific Ocean. The lake is home to over a million of the jellyfish.

The pictures were taken by Amy's husband John, a US Navy oceanographer. It is believed the jellyfish have been trapped in the lake since it was last substantially attached to the ocean about 12,000 years ago.
