Eclipse total lunar de superlua e tempestade de relâmpagos | Supermoon Total Lunar Eclipse and Lightning Storm

O que é mais raro ainda do que uma eclipse lunar total de superlua? Que tal uma eclipse lunar total de superlua sobre uma tempestade de relâmpagos? Uma sequência eletrizante foi totografada ontem em Ibiza, uma ilha no sudeste da Espanha. Após escolher a localidade devido à sua beleza, e o tempo certo para registrar toda a sequência da eclipse, a única coisa que teria de cooperar com este astrofotógrafo para que ele pudesse fotografar uma eclipse memorável era o tempo. 

O que aparentava ser um aborrecimento no horizonte revelou-se, no entanto, uma bênção. A fotografia composta  contém mais de 200 imagens digitalmente combinadas, a partir da mesma localidade, ao longo de uma noite. A Lua cheia é vista  se pondo ao esmaecer em um tom vermelho sob a sombra da Terra, e depois voltando ao normal. 

O relâmpago fortuito é visto refletido no mar Mediterrâneo, à direita da ilha rochosa  Es Vedra, de 400 metros de altura. Embora a próxima eclipse total de uma grande e brilhante superlua só volte a ocorrer em 2033, a próxima eclipse total de qualquer Lua cheia irá ocorrer em janeiro de 2018, e será mais facilmente visível do leste da Ásia e Austrália.

What's more rare than a supermoon total lunar eclipse? How about a supermoon total lunar eclipse over a lightning storm. Such an electrifying sequence was captured yesterday from Ibiza, an island in southeastern Spain. After planning the location for beauty, and the timing to capture the entire eclipse sequence, the only thing that had to cooperate for this astrophotographer to capture a memorable eclipse sequence was the weather. 

What looked to be a bother on the horizon, though, turned out to be a blessing. The composite picture features over 200 digitally combined images from the same location over the course of a night. The full moon is seen setting as it faded to red in Earth's shadow and then returned to normal. 

The fortuitous lightning is seen reflected in the Mediterranean to the right of the 400-meter tall rocky island of Es Vedra. Although the next total eclipse of a large and bright supermoon will occur in 2033, the next total eclipse of any full moon will occur in January 2018 and be best visible from eastern Asia and Australia.
