Video: Brazilian Police Kills Transient

Officers of "Military" Police in São Paulo, Brazil, arrested an unarmed street vendor, Antonio Carlos Braga, 30, recklessly pointing a pistol at the surrounding crowd which protested against the abuse. The man, restrained by the officers and laying on the ground, face down, was handcuffed. All of a sudden, the bald officer shoots at random, hitting a bystander, who falls dead.

It looks like here in Brazil tourists must fear the police, rather than other, ordinary criminals.

The suspect officer, soldier Henrique Dias Bueno de Araujo, was arrested, but will very likely remain in prison  only for a short time...
