Orion

Parte do céu na constelação de Orion (O Caçador). Erguendo-se como um gigantesco cavalo marinho de turbulentas ondas de poeira e gás na Nebulosa da Cabeça de Cavalo, também conhecida como Barnard 33.

 Esta imagem mostra a região em luz  infravermelha, de comprimentos de onda mais longos que os da luz visível, que pode enxergar através do material poeirento que costuma obscurecer a região interna da nebulosa.

Part of the sky in the constellation of Orion (The Hunter). Rising like a giant seahorse from turbulent waves of dust and gas is the Horsehead Nebula, otherwise known as Barnard 33. 

This image shows the region in infrared light, which has longer wavelengths than visible light and can pierce through the dusty material that usually obscures the nebula's inner region.
