The "Tongue of the Ocean" / A "Língua do Oceano"

A "Língua do Oceano" e várias das 2.700 ilhas da cadeia das Bahamas e parte da Flórida peninsular, inclusive o Cabo Canaveral, onde se  localiza o Kennedy Space Center, aparecem nesta imagem fotografada por ums membros da missão STS-135 enquanto o Ônibus Espacial Atlantis estava atracado à Estação Espacial Internacional.

The "Tongue of the Ocean" and several of the 2,700 islands in the Bahamas chain and part of peninsular Florida, including Cape Canaveral, the location of the Kennedy Space Centre, are seen in this view photographed by one of the STS-135 crewmembers while Atlantis was docked with the International Space Station.
