A Agência Climática da ONU revelou dados mostrando que esta década está a caminho de tornar-se a mais quente desde o início das medições, em 1850, sendo 2009 o quinto ano mais quente. A segunda década mais quente foi a de 1990.
Mas alguém realmente se importa? Para alguns, ou muitos, depende se irão perder ou lucrar. Para os que gostam de estar sempre no topo do mundo, os lucros sempre falam mais alto. We are the World, and a delegate looks at a giant globe which displays the warming of the world's ocean in the U.S. pavilion at the U.N. Climate summit in Copenhagen, Denmark. The U.N. weather agency unveiled data showing that this decade is on track to become the hottest since records began in 1850, with 2009 the fifth-warmest year ever. The second warmest decade was the 1990s. Does anybody really care? To some, or many, it depends on whether there'll be costs or profits. For those who aim sitting on top of the world, profits speak louder.
