Unbearable toll / Custo insuportável

At war, with very few exceptions, no one is right. I don't see any of both, Israeli or Palestinians, taking fair actions.

Of course, Palestinians have the right to they land, but on the other hand, Hamas started firing rockets. Too heavy a reaction from Israeli, on the other hand.

The toll, no matter high or not, is always unbearable:

Friends and relatives cried during the funeral for Irit Shitrit, a mother of four, in Ashdod, Israel. Ms. Shitrit was killed by a Hamas rocket in Ashdod, near Tel Aviv, on Monday. Hamas militants launched at least 10 rockets into southern Israel.

So far, Israeli army has killed at least 350 people in Gaza Strip, about 60 of them civilians, have been killed, according to the United Nations.

At a bound from 2009, it's likely that things will not get any better so soon.

We get impressed by such things, but time goes by, and nothing changes; no to better, that is to say. Does it matter knowing who started the game?

We are the edge of a new year and thing don't change; i.e., not to better.

Na guerra, salvo muito raras exceções, ninguém tem razão. Não vejo nenhuma ação correta, seja de Israel, ou do Hamas. Este começou a lançar foguetes primeiro, embora os palestinos tenham todo o direito a ter a própria terra. Por outro lado, a reação de Israel foi desproporcional.

O saldo, não importa quão alto ou baixo, é sempre insuportável: Amigos e parentes choram durante o enterro de Irit Shitrit, mãe de quatro crianças, em Ashdod, Israel. Shitrit foi morta por um foguete lançado pelo Hamas nesta cidade, perto de Tel Aviv, segunda-feira.

Os militantes do Hamas lançaram ao menos dez foguetes ao sul de Israel. Por outro lado, o exército de Israel matou ao menos 350 pessoas em Gaza, cerca de 60 deles civis, de acordo com a ONU. O que importa quem começou tudo isso?

Quase em 2009, nos impressionamos com tudo isso, mas o tempo passa e as coisas não mudam; quer dizer, não mudam para melhor.
