Glaciares em Marte, sim! / Glaciers on Mars, yes!

Glaciers on Mars
The glaciers, buried under rocky debris, are said to be more than three times the size of Los Angeles, up to half a mile thick.
Scientists believe they may be remnants of an ice sheet that once covered the planet's mid-latitudes.
The hidden glaciers, which extend for tens of miles from areas of high ground, were uncovered by ground-penetrating radar carried on the American space agency Nasa's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
The buried glaciers described by the scientists lie in the Hellas Basin region of the southern Martian hemisphere.
